Lodging

There is camping available at the park.

For those of you who would rather sleep indoors, there are a few hotels in the area. I've never stayed in any of them, so please don't consider this a recommendation. It's just a list of places to stay in the area. Clicking on the name of the hotel will send you to the hotel's website.

Holiday Inn Express-Woodbury

Country Inn by Carlson-Woodbury

Hilton Garden Inn-Oakdale

The Historic Afton House Inn-Afton

Fairfield Inn-Hudson, WI

AmericInn-Stillwater

Super 8-Hastings

Most of these hotels are about 20 minutes from the park. The park itself is about 30 minutes from the Twin Cities, where there are plenty more lodging options.

We have stayed at the Country Inn by Carleton in Woodbury twice and had no problems. The pool and exercise room were a nice bonus and the free breakfast had more choices then most places.

RMN SD

(Not going to Minnesota this year until July but will probably be staying at the C I by C again)

We booked a room at the Country Inn for May 30 & 31. Looks like a nice place!
